A.S. Watson, established in 1841, has expanded tremendously from its humble beginnings as a small dispensary, to become the largest international health & beauty retailer worldwide. The company currently operates over 16,300 stores in 28 markets, making it one of the longest-standing businesses in Hong Kong and possibly even the world.
As a founding member of the eLab hub located in City Road, London, we established this centralised in-house digital & creative team in early 2015 to provide global support to the Group’s eCommerce business and enhance our digital presence across the globe.
During my time at eLab, my primary responsibility was to update and infuse excitement into our Luxury health & beauty websites, ensuring optimal eCommerce functionality and creating an exceptional user experience. We maintained ongoing collaborations, both virtually and through FIFO visits, with the eLab commercial team and business units throughout Europe.
Showcased below are two impressive visual examples created in-house, utilising wireframes, visual illustrations, and assets, while also performing back-end development and launching them online. These include the eLaboration hub, a comprehensive toolbox of assets for all Luxury teams within the A.S. Watson Group, and the Marionnaud blog, a bilingual resource centre for all European teams featuring how-to guides, beauty videos, and product promotions.
